how to make a car battery be a wall outlet?

my question is this: how do i get a 12 volt car battery to be a 120 volt wall outlet plugin. with directly mounting it to the terminals and with a wall switch mixed in there for power control. and where would i get the transformers and whatnot?
also, the battery is 100% separate from the car and i’m trying to run a 7 amp angle grinder on it and maybe some garage lights.. so 500-700 watts is what i’m looking for.

You just need to buy something called an inverter that is rated for the amp-hr of your car battery.

Look at this link which gives a inverter for a car battery ,complete with the receptacle and everything that is good for 700 watts of power and a surge to 1400 watts. So that you can run computers , TV and small appliances up to 700 watts.
So you have to know about how big of load your going to put on it. The big inverters, 3000 watts on up cost fairly big bucks $500 on up
